Jackson's Models Cumbria

I recently purchased a Expo metal scale ruler from 'Jackson's Models' in Cumbria through their Ebay shop, when my package arrived I found that the ruler was missing, I originally thought that maybe a sharp corner of the ruler had possibly pierced the packaging and the ruler had slipped out due to handling etc.

 

I contacted Royal Mail and they started an investigation to find out where the ruler ended up, I also contacted 'Jackson's Models' to inform them as to what had happened and straight away they sent out a replacement for me which arrived today.

I didn't realise that the ruler had it's own sleeve so I think it unlikely the ruler was able to put a slit in the packaging and fall out, maybe it was 'helped' out!
