RMweb Gold bcnPete Posted February 21, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted February 21, 2016 Quick bump/Update to show admission prices which remain the same as last year which is: Adult + 5.00 Children + 3.00 Family (assumed 2 adults, 2 children) +13.00 (I have not used the pound sign as I understand there are currently some issues with this - will amend once sorted) Pete
RMweb Gold bcnPete Posted April 17, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 17, 2016 One month away so quick update: Another layout to add to the list is: Gravel Bottom A micro layout, the basis being gravel extracted some miles away and transported by narrow gauge to the standard gauge line. The Scale is 0.16-5 + 7mm standard gauge 18 layouts in total for the show. I also hear the club have now gained access rights to the website again so it should be soon updated to reflect the exhibition information. Middlesea John
I was there with Steve Farrow's Pen-y-Madoc. What a lovely show run by particularly nice people. Thanks for the hospitality and the bacon sandwiches.
RMweb Gold bcnPete Posted May 21, 2016 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 21, 2016 Really enjoyed the show last Saturday. Thanks to Alan and Maggie for letting my youngest son operate Oldshaw for most of the day whilst I worked the car park, entrance door, raffle and fire exit corridors! although I did get to run it the last half an hour. Plenty of good layouts and soon the BHMRC will update their website with a selection of layouts but meantime I am posting the ones that floated my boat, mainly because that's the era I grew up with. Next year I will bring my 2FS layout Kyle but upgraded to DCC unless my new 7mm toe dipping has advanced significantly. A few pics...
