Coronavirus

We continue to process all internet, telephone and mail orders as normal, however our shop will be temporarily closed to all visitors until further notice.

At Model Railways Direct we take our responsibility for our employees and customers welfare seriously and have been following the government advice regarding Coronavirus closely.

The latest government advice is that we all should avoid non-essential contact with others and, were possible, work from home.

After careful consideration we've decided that the most effective way to protect our employees and customers is temporarily close the shop premises to visitors until further notice.

Any customers with outstanding ‘collect in store’ orders will be contacted to discuss alternatives over the next few days.

All internet, mail and telephone orders will continue to be processed as normal during this time and we will continue to receive deliveries from our suppliers.

We appreciate that this may be inconvenient for some of our customers who prefer to shop in store, however in these uncertain times we hope that you understand that safety of our employees and customers have to be our priority.

In summary:

•    All internet, telephone and mail orders will continue as normal
•    Our telephone lines will be open as usual from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm
•    We will continue to receive orders from all of our suppliers as usual
•    Our shop will close to all visitors until further notice
•    Any customers with outstanding collect in store orders will be contacted to discuss a suitable alternative.
