Specifically the different angles and arches of the cab gave me big problems until "Rabs" in this thread http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/97742-any-advice-or-help-for-this-complex-shape/ showed an easy way to design complex shapes. Using his method, I redesigned the entire cockpit in 4 days compared to the 3 months of the first try which Shapeways could not even display correctly. I uploaded my last version to Shapeways and it passed the first test on the first try (a first for me as well). I also spend some time on the inside, maybe too much time. mgbusa Posted February 29, 2016 Author Share Posted February 29, 2016 I actually have it directly from Bemo that BVZ models and repainted into MGB are not a hot seller for them. FO on the other hand are a money maker even in MGB colors. Bemo never did anything unique BVZ, if they could not use at least some parts they already had. I think, I am pretty save with this model.
