Ian H C
Been looking at a lot of wagon books recently, particularly the LNER Wagons 4A, Peter Tatlow, Wild Swan. In a lot of the official Faverdale works photos there are some sidings laid with flat bottom rail spiked to sleepers, and in the background through the years there is usually a pile of some round 'things'. They look like thick round discs. Cast blanks for something? Can't identify them as any part of a wagon. Any idea what they were?
