great central
Seen recently that M & B models, long time Lima spares specialist of Whatton, (their description) have now got a shop in Grantham. Having got as far as Sedgebrook to check out something else, I decided to go into Grantham, as they say they also now have Vitrains spares, I need some class 37 horns, surprise, surprise. Had a bit of trouble locating the address, but when I found the 'shop' it turns out to be a few, four I think, shelves in the window of a cake decoration shop :icon_what: :icon_what: There weren't even any cakes I could buy as consolation :icon_cry: On enquiring inside that is all there is, the lady herself was nothing to do with the railway side, it's her shop, M & B just rent a bit of shelf space. :icon_confused: Feel I've been 'had' and will look elsewhere for the horns or they'll go without. The picture on Bachmann's website almost overstates the railway presence :icon_frustrated: Judge for yourself, what you see is what there is :icon_frustrated: http://www.Bachmann.co.uk/stk_box.php?image=stk/M0151.jpg&width=600&height=
noiseboy72
Hmm, know what you mean ! He does sell some cheap RTR - 4CEP for for less than Hattons, but I don't expect you will find a large range of spares or hard to find bits. I think when he is there, you can ask him to send stuff on though.
