Godalming old station / goods yard

Hi, I am looking to gather information on godalming goods yard with a veiw to a potential layout. I have managed to get hold of a number of photos looking through Woking to Portsmouth by Middleton press and from the internet. I wondered where I would be best to turn to get hold of more information photos, drawings etc? Also what would have been the freight movements and loco classes applicable?

 

I have one photo with a 5mt in the yard, surely the largest that would use it. The yard looks fairly farlorn in the photos I have so I imagine it was a little over sized for the traffic it received.
