David68 Posted April 26, 2016 Share Posted April 26, 2016 My first proper layout. A single loop for my Grandson - Thomas, Percy and friends A shunting puzzle for me! It will be built in accordance with Rule 1. I am a bit of a Green Diesel fan so all of my locomotives are of that era. I have always loved freight trains so, with the exception of an active DMU, I do not tend to run any kind of passenger carriages. The track is Peco 100 with peco point motors. The control is very very basic - a Gaugemaster D running only line only. I will add additional sections when I have worked out how to do it (I did say I was a beginner). As you can see from the images, I am a massive fan of the Metcalfe card kits - all I need to do is work out where I am going to put them all. The track has been laid and tested, all of the points work and my grandson and I are having fun "testing" locomotives! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
