34theletterbetweenB&D
Had a little jaunt into the countryside this morning to collect a little information, one question to be answered was the last date the clock was serviced. There on the access door to the mechanism was a wire and wax seal securing the latch, with a clockmaker's card attached. It helpfully offered a telephone contact number should there be any future enquiry: Leeds 4. So, sometime immediately after Leeds got the telephone then... Still working and right time too. Chalked instructions in an elegant hand of the winding required, and notes of small weight changes on the pendulum.
