SR 25T 'Pillbox' Brake van

HI Guy`s,

 

I`m looking at having an ex-SR pillbox brake van to run with some engineers stock on a future layout set in the early 80`s.

 

I know Dapol have released one,but is there a brass kit avalible at all.I have been through the traders sites on the Guild page but have come up with nothing as yet.

 

I do have to say i`ve nothing against the Dapol offering,(apart from that the planking seem`s to uniform for the Van i`m looking at modeling) it`s just that i would prefer to make up a kit if at all possible.

Not aware of anything in brass, but Parkside do one I think,

I think ABS do a kit, which may have had something to do with the reams of comment on the Dapol product, but it's probably not available.

Thanks Peter,

 

Perhaps i was hoping for bit too much,considering that as you`ve pointed out,Parkside make a plastic kit as well.

 

This i`ll probably have to settle on, as it`ll be easier to alter the planking to suit the prototype photo i`m going to work off.
