34theletterbetweenB&D
Not seen this before this morning; adverts just popping up and flashing randomly several times in the middle of the screen, obscuring the thread content. I appreciate that advertising supplies the funding, but adverts that give user a headache are not achieving any of their intended purpose...
RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted August 13, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 13, 2016 RMweb doesn't normally do that. Have you been hijacked by some kind of virus or something?
RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted August 13, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 13, 2016 If they are model railway related advertising, try logging in. RMweb shows far more aggressive advertising to visitors who are not logged in as members. If they appear when your mouse moves over a word underlined in green, log in. If they are not model railway related, or appear without moving your mouse, you have some malicious software or a browser problem. Martin.
Andy Y
No pop up ads or similar are used by RMweb, even for guest users. I would suggest installing and running Malware bytes.
