RMweb Gold jamest Posted August 27, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 27, 2016 Hi all, I tend to only frequent this page along with layout topics so forgive me for a shameless advert for my layout. It was borne out of trying a similar layout at a local show and having the desire to complete something for a change. The layout is just over four feet by one foot and follows the classic 5-3-3 formation. Having exhibited three times I feel it is time to move on to another small idea in my head - but I need funds and room first! I am not looking to make a killing, in fact I'd love it to go to someone who'd appreciate it. You will not offend me with any fair offer, as long as you bear in mind I might politely refuse. The layout is operated from the front, with wire in the tube for the points, it can be used as DCC or DC, each track piece/point has a power feed and the uncoupling is set for kadees with surface magnets. This uncoupling method could be changed to an alternative method very easier if kadees are not your thing. The layout has its own integral lighting. It comes with trestle legs and all the buildings and cars you see in the photos - But no controller or stock/engine.
