Stupid question : AC / CDU / polarity

I'm certain this is a stupd question, and I'm certain I know the answer, but I'm going to ask anyway! Just in case

The input to the Guagemaster CDU doesn't have a polarity marked on it.
The AC output on my HM Clipper doesn't have a polarity marked on it.

Of course they wouldn't - it's AC. Each terminal will vary from +16v to -16v, so it doesn't matter which way round you connect them.

Right?
