muddys-blues Posted September 8, 2016 Share Posted September 8, 2016 Hello, this might sound a bit daft but bear with me, I am in the process of building a modular layout with 6 x APA boxes, I bought 5 x genuine Ikea ones, then I bought one of the one advertised on ebay sometime ago to make up my required set of 6, but as I have found out tonight, the one I bought off ebay is actually slightly larger than the genuine Ikea boxes, now the items are more or less the same and build up exactly the same but the dimensions are as follows, the dimensions are the external measurements of the box frame without the lids fitted: genuine Ikea APA box: 665mm L x 270mm H x 360mm D ebay APA box: 665mm L x 300mm H x 360mm D The height difference is some 3cm, because I will be joining 2 x together for each module, then the 3 x modules will sit on top of each other for transporting I would ideally like a genuine Ikea to make up the set of 6, I would consider exhange or buying one off you should you wish to sell one.
