Andy Parkinson
Attached are images of a recently built hinged lifting section. Any ideas as to how it can be locked vertically in place?? Thanks
Cornholio
Assuming you have an upright to attach it to, I would suggest a Bar/Counter flap catch. Typically used in pubs etc to hold the lifting section in place. A good hardware store or internet auction site should be able to supply you.
28XX
A length of chain screwed through a link to the flap, with a ring at the other end which can be passed over a protruding screw-head on the fixed board to secure.
Cornholio
In the absence of a suitable upright perhaps cabin hooks?
