Dapol Track Cleaning Machine

Yep, I use a track cleaning rubber and like many am fed up with it. Now I have ordered one of those Dapol machines with a heap of spares given where I live.

 

I was wondering what the fluid is? And those who use this machine, what do you use?

 

I need to find an alternative because:

 

1) The Dapol fluid appears to be very expensive for 100mls

2) Post takes about 6-8 weeks to get here.

3)Liquid in the post is not a good idea given what is going on in the world these days.

Yes, and if the liquid is flammable, then they will not be able to send it to you unless you can organise sea post. You might try methylated spirits, it is pretty good at cleaning track and not likely to damege the cleaner.
