Chrom
I have acquired a Bachmann Class 37 chassis with a fitted 8-pin dcc ready socket. See the photo. It also has a mini two-pin plug at each end to connect the lights. Clearly it is an early model but I have no idea which. Perhaps you can enlighten me? Also, which body would fit this? With only two wires at each end I would expect there to be some other components on the PC board switching them over so, any ideas Please? MrB
The early locos only had head lights and highintensity spot lights, no tail lights. As it has buffers it wouldn't be suitable for the early 8 pin 37/0s IIRC you have the choice of 7 bodies;- 37419 in EW&S livery 32-375 37429 in BR Regional Railways 32-376 37408 in BR Large Logo blue 32-377 37431 in BR Mainline 32-378 37678 in BR Red stripe railfreight 32-379 37671 in BR Sub-sector distribution 32-380 there was also the BR Green 37/4 Ben Cruachan a limited edition 37.
