I have some tortoise point motors and would like to have route selection i.e. a 3 position switch which selects route out 1, 2 or 3. John ks Posted October 24, 2016 Share Posted October 24, 2016 If you chose to use a 2way center off switch the the following circuit will work You will need a SPDT centre off SW & 2 DPDT(2pole change over) 12volt relays It may take a bit of trial and error to work out which point motor to connect to which relay and what polarity for that motor. When the switch is in the centre position the 3 way point should straight' straight John This method just requires a 4-pole ON-ON-ON toggle switch which has the same contact arrangement as the two relays and therefore saves having to use the relays.
