ISBN 9780993483509 At just shy of 500 pages there are details about this pioneering engineer and the engineering company he founded. As this is the first commercial firm to produce steam locomotives in the world every scholar of early railways should at least read or even better own a copy of this tome. I picked up my copy today. I can only endorse the favourable review in this month's (February 2017) "Back Track" and the recommendation of the previous post.
