David Rickard
I found these: http://aboutmodelrailroads.com/PIK/PIK.html The engine facility and shops looks very much like the sort of thing I'm after. I'd ideally like something that looks similar to the Aylesbury TMD, which is basically flat corrugated sides, and a reasonably flat roof. Scratchbuilding is probably a bit beyond me, but kitbashing is something I'm happy to try out. I'm looking for alternatives too, and I'm happy with card or plastic. Trouble is I'm looking for N Gauge, which narrows the choices a wee bit!

MSIM will be at the NOTTINGHAM East Midlands EXHIBITION this coming weekend.

David Rickard
It's not tha far ! We travel down to Aylesbury ! Well yes, in the grand scheme of things, it's not far! But it's far enough to make me think I can't be bothered with the journey, and it's easier to just buy what I want by post
