billtee
I have just finished assembling a Parkside Dundas O gauge kit of a Soutgern Railways 12 ton goods wagon. The kit was VERY old, but it went together eventually. However, when I tried to use the 'self adhesive type transfers (which I have used very successfully several times previously on other kits), I found the lettering so dried out that the 'glue' formimg the adhesive backing to the letters would not stick at all. I tried wetting the letters first, but no joy there, and the S of the SR actually disintegrated into several pieces. Can anyone tell me where I might get similar lettering - I need "S" and "R" (twice, of course), plus two vehicle numbers (45914), plus "12 TONS" (twice), and "TARE 9.19.0" (twice), all lettering in white. Someone on this wonderful forum must know where I can buy the lettering, I trawled the internet for hours with no success at all. Thanking you all for your help, Bill
