RMweb Premium CF MRC Posted December 3, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 3, 2016 I have been reading Paul Bambrick and John Ellis Cockell's new book on "Creating a Backscene", published by Ian Allan. It really is a wonderful book with very high production values: it has certainly given me food for thought as it isn't just about painting in 2d but covers much of the modelling required in the scene leading into that painted structure. I have been a great believer in backscenes integrated with the layout and the application of reducing scales on various N gauge and 2 mm layouts over the last 45 years.
