RMweb Gold colin penfold Posted December 14, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 14, 2016 I have just watched a heartwarming combination of craftsmanship and human interest. Amazing spaces is about interesting small homes. This special edition tells the story of a WWII Prisoner of war who maintained his sanity by designing a touring caravan in great detail. The programme worked from his original plans found by his daughter, to bring his design to life after 70 years. I highly recommend this programme. Its on 4seven at 7pm tomorrow or on Channel 4 on demand via the web. Amazing Spaces: WWII Special
Zomboid
I wouldn't say I watched it, but we had "the big life fix" or something like that on this evening, which was a selection of tales showing engineers tackling a couple of quality of life issues for people who've suffered misfortunes - an improved speech computer thing for a guy who had a stroke, and a bike for a teenager with no hands or feet. Also sheep rustling... Not really on topic, but relevant to the title, I thought.
