Laser cut building templates

Recommended Posts

Hey all,thus is my first post here so please tell me of it belongs somewhere else. I joined this forum because of all the treasures of information i could find on lasercutting your own terrain. I myself am a 28mm wargamer and design all my own terrain pieces,however i'm always willing to learn and improve.

That's why i upload all my designs on thingiverse so people can use these designs freely.

The link below will take you to my latest piece;

28mm large barn bolt action found on #Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2006798

Now i was wondering,do other people share their designs,or areyou aware of any other sites such as thingiverse?

I know most of my stuff isn't as good as many of th pieces i've seen here but i hope these are usefull to somebody!

Well as far as i know thingiverse contains a whole lot of train related 3D prints,but unfortunately the laser cut design sharing community is rather limited,or maybe isolated is a better term. Anyway,maybe this topic inspires some folks to start sharing designs more and more?

I hope to apply brickwork to my current designs and start working with muktiple layers rather then cutting all from the same piece to create more eD effects

There is JCL's  'Silhouette cutter' thread on here, which has some files uploaded ready for sharing.

The CRA has a 'Library of Cutting Files' thread, too.

Open to members of the Caledonian Railway association only, I am afraid, however, I am sure that there are others out there.

Regards

Ian
