MrWolf
It's good to see that it looks a lot warmer and brighter on the Muddle branch than it does here this morning.
Winslow Boy
Its always sunny in LM. What's more it only rains at night and is bone dry by the time the sun rises. 2 2

RMweb Gold simonmcp Posted January 21, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 21, 2023 Cornwall is dry, no wind and sunny this morning. Can't say it's been like that for a long time though. Interesting that the lichen on the rooves looks like snow in the black and white picture.

Playing with the settings on Affinity can change the whole look of a monochrome picture. 6

MrWolf
That looks great, in fact the only thing I don't like about the image is that it reminds me that I still have to load up my sleeper wagon, although I have now painted the sleepers. Finish building and paint the infamous crane. Then there's several different types of ballast wagons still sealed in bags in component form and the old Mainline brake van I've been meaning to convert into a PW brake..... But what a grand image to admire over breakfast. 3 3 1

RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted January 23, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 23, 2023 (edited) Great to see a new through train at Encombe. With the stationary clock of LM a train load of sleepers is no surprise. Edited January 23, 2023 by Limpley Stoker To make sense. 5
KNP
Working on one of those odd little projects that has been on the cards for while but some thing else always seems to come along and take over. Remember these Those wibberly wobberly tie bars!!! Well, hopefully no more using some brass strip to straighten. Popular Post KNP
As the warp was caused by expansion I cut them to relieve the pressure and trimmed to a revised length. Amazed at the length increase! 15
Popular Post KNP
Cut the brass strip to fit between and super glue in place. Turn my tweezers into clamps 20 1

Popular Post KNP
Well I think that was a morning well spent as these two Minks look tons better now as the eye isn't drawn to those wavy tie bars anymore. 38 1 1

Popular Post KNP
We managed to get a couple of shots of the 'hybrid' SR luggage/brake van passing, you know the special with the recessed doors!!! One day if I find a cheap kit with just the doors and brass fret I might redo this but but for now it will be a rarely seen back ground model. To be honest, to my non SR eyes it looks OK, just makes me laugh how I mis-read the instructions, not once but 8 times???? 23 1
Ponthir28
To me I wouldn’t know if it was right or wrong. But I suppose once you know it’s wrong it could really annoy you. But I think life to short to worry about it. Edited January 26, 2023 by Ponthir28
