The Great Bear
In past month I'm managed to break three decoders due (mostly) to my ineptitude. Under their no questions asked "goof-proof" warranty all have been repaired or replaced by TCS no questions asked. All for small (few quid) cost of mailing back to the USA. I also like their performance so tend to use them for difficult models eg old whitemetal kit locos bought secondhand. So if you've a difficult DCC installation or am ham-fisted might be worth a look, a wide range of different models. Downside is they are only available from a few UK shops eg Coastal DCC, Digitrains Or you may be much more adept than me! Jon
SRman
I agree, TCS are very helpful and do honour their no-fault watrranty.I have lost a few over the years, some due to unknown faults, but one in particular down to my own stupidity! All have been replaced, either by the retailer, or by TCS in the US for the cost of the postage. Being small, fairly flat items, the postage costs aren't a killer, especially when compared to the exorbitant postal costs of larger items from the States.
