Lost Johnny Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 I believe that if you buy a Hornby product with DCC on board (ie with the chip already fitted] it will still act as an analogue item for testing but without all of the bells and whistles is this also the case with Bachmann products as I am not quite ready to go down the DCC route quite yet although it is probably inevitable any help would be gratefully received thanks in anticipation Jock Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also decoders don't like HF track cleaners such as the Relco. So if you have one on your layout you need to disconect it whilst you have DCC locos on the track.
