loco
Just acquired a new Minitrains. A 5042 Stainz. Being my first one from this company, what if any running in would you recommend. cheers
Stevelewis
t alwayys helps to run a new loco in so to speak! However I usually find that Minitrains usually perform well out of the box ( except for the 2 or 3 where the valve gear parted itself from the locos!!) I believe the problems are now corrected. One recommendation I would make is to avoid running your locos at high voltages, after all this only results in unprototypical speeds anyway! And don't over lubricate! loco
Hi. Thanks for the advice.. Just letting it jog round the layout for about 20 mins in each direction. Whilst i enjoy a coffee. I will remember your wise comments about lubrication. cheers
