Lubricating axles, especially in split chassis locomotices

Has anyone got a copy of MRJ 133 handy? Memory is telling me that John Lythgoe said you dont use silicone lubricants where electric current is flowing. I think that it was in an article in the above issue

Hi Guys,

This is completely out of left field but may be usefull.

I have just received an email from: Cousins Material House Limited <noreply@cousinsuk.com>

In th email is an ad for Magic Rhodium.

Someone with more knowledge than me, may be able to help whether this could be useful for the bearing part of the axle.

Hope this may be of some help.
