DOCJACOB
Quick question as struggling to find answer online currently, anyone know the paint match for this wagon please? Acquired 2nd hand, one of the RCH 1923 7 plank wagons but available pre-painted and lettered. Looks sort of bauxite/red with white unshaded writing? Kubes
I don't recall Parkside doing ready painted PO wagon kits. Might be a Powsides product as they used a variety of source kits which they then supplied either ready decorated or with appropriate full size transfers. I imagine they might be able to advise on colour matches. Kubes
DOCJACOB
Thanks my mistake as in a Parkside Dundas box along with others Alloa and a Woodhall on NBR original. Looking at Powsides available via them, and e-mailed the same question
brossard
A picture would help Ithink. My PO wagon came with pre printed sides: Not a lot of the printing left after my vandalism. Interior should be wood as a rule. My rendition: If you can use coarse sandpaper to etch grain into the wood. Start with a cream colour (exact shade not important). Then use umber and black powders to give it a used look. John Edited January 28, 2018 by brossard
