Guest Bishoptrains
With me being new to the forum I am thinking of making a workshop diorama incorporating a rolling road as I don't have space to build a permanent layout this way I will be able to run my locos within a workshop setting. The base will be 20" in length with 2 side walls and a main wall with old brickwork and workshop tools. Kevin

marc smith
Hi there Kevin / Bishoptrains,Great idea. A small diorama is a great way to learn and practice modelling skills and techniquesI think in recent years, more people have come to realise that space in the home is too much of a premium, and layouts can occupy too much room for many of us....Micro layouts and dioramas are the answer to those who don't have enough space, and I'm really pleased at how features such as sound and lighting has moved on, and can be a real boon on a small scene...Don't forget to post sketches and plans and any photos you take along the way.... Best of luck with it
