Father Dougal
Hi, I have just built a Tower models class 20. I have fitted an old RJH light kit which uses grain of wheat bulbs. I followed the wiring diagram and even colour coded it so I was less likely to make a 'cook up'. The lights only work in one direction. I have the front yellow lights and a set of rear red lights working. The opposite lights for each end are misbehaving. I can't figure out where I went wrong. Any suggestions? Please reply using simple instructions. I can build a loco but electronics are a dark art to me! RAF96
You probably have the diode at that end in back to front.
Father Dougal
Aha, fixed it! Turned out I had a teeny weeny bit of solder causing a short at one end. Quick clean up and now runs fine in both directions. Dougal.
