Rail-Online
Hi, When building my own track I spent ages trying to work out which sleepers 'ran through' from one track to the other around the nose(es) of crossovers. I came across the attaches neg the other day which shows BR(Sc) practice at Perth around 1961. Of course it is BR laid flatbottom track but gives a clue towards pre-nationalisation practice. Big long sleepers were expensive! Tony
