banburysaint
A GWR kit built King 6000 has come into my possession. I intend to sell it on as I don't believe it is in my capability to rescue it however I am sure some one will be able to! Does anyone know which manufacturer produced the locomotive. My guess would be Wills Finecast but I can't see any marks on the castings. The locomotive is white metal. The chassis is white metal with no bearings. hayfield
I think you are correct in that it is a Wills loco. Dave Ellis at Southeastern Finecast will sell any missing bits. New set of Markit axles, motor and gears required and a few castings, plus new handrail wire is all that is required Ideal restoration job for someone
Coach bogie
Certainly a Wills/SEF Bogie and the original cast chassis. More recent kits come with an etched chassis. Not as detailed as the Hornby but pulls significantly more. Mike Wiltshire
