These look smaller in height that’s usual L6’s or am I wrong

Yes the L6 D in first and last photo looks like one of the towers that are specifically under the standard tower height. Mxx design where a different tower base is used instead. In the tower drawings somewhere.

Do you collect the phase/circuit colour codes at all?

Not really , I’ve been looking to add extra detailing during lockdown and noticed these colour codes . Hopefully when displayed others might enquire about this particular feature which most of the collection now adorn.3234CDEE-3177-4702-B9AA-25721849AD4B.jpeg.2dfa09fc19e84c457f68e25bb85b8915.jpeg

Ok just wondered, I try and make a note of them on the Supergrid towers. I have seen yellow, blue and red on some towers and in substations and I presumed these denoted the circuit phases?

I have done some photoshopping on a pylon and created a possible idea for a repurposed PL16 DDT. The idea comes from the fact that the line is being rerouted and extended to a new location (eg a new Gas Power Plant) and is fed from an existing substation to a new line of L4Ms. The DDT would be connected to the L4Ms and therefore no longer needs its extended top crossarms for the substation so they are shortened. I had a play around with some plans from the tower bible and a real image to create what I think could happen.
