NeilH
Hello I am looking to model a number of BR Mk1 BG NEA coaches for my model railway based on the WCML in 1977. I have tried to identify the buffer beam detail associated with this stock but have so far drawn a blank. If anyone has any information regarding this (including, if possible, drawings/ photos) and would be willing to share this with me that would be most appreciated. Apologies if this information is readily available - I havent identified this to date though. Thanks and kind regards Neil.

Flood
Although these are renumbered stock the original NEAs became 92000 to 92207. Comparison between each of these photos should give an idea. An NHA is just an NEA maintained for 110 mph running. NHA 92031: ETH socket in shadow, twin air pipes, buckeye coupling, steam heating pipe removed, ETH plug to the right of the corridor connection http://80srail.zenfolio.com/p771632351/e7876aa2 NHA 92046: ETH socket in shadow, twin air pipes, buckeye coupling, steam heating pipe, ETH plug to the right of the corridor connection (under the lamp) http://80srail.zenfolio.com/p771632351/e3482fcf5 NEA 92069: ETH socket seen by the LH buffer, twin air pipes, buckeye coupling, steam heating pipe removed, ETH plug hidden http://80srail.zenfolio.com/p771632351/e2b27b8c The London Midland NEA stock in 1977 would still have been dual heat with steam heating pipes so that steam heat 45s, 46s and 47s could heat the pressure vent Mk2a/b/c air brake stock on cross country services. Although the WCML services would have operated as ETH the NEA stock still needed to be dual heat at that time as they could have been allocated to any London Midland Region service.
