dibber25
I've been scanning some more of my old 1960s enprints. Sorry about the quality. Didn't have a great camera. They might interest the rolling stock fans, however. This one always intrigued me. Photographed at St. Erth. It carried 'OPERATING DEPT. BARNSTAPLE VICTORIA ROAD' on the sides but I have it in mind as an LSWR van (not sure why) and odd that it was so far down the WR main line. Pity I didn't take more notice of the brake van behind it, as that looks to have been interesting, too. Two vans at Swindon - probably 1965. The H. Pooley weighing machine adjusting van and a GWR Gunpowder van - might be useful to Rapido with their forthcoming model and to those with Minerva O gauge vans. Ludgershall yard in June 1969. Lots of Warwells and a BR Mk1 non-corridor brake. No doubt someone will know which one it was. More info welcome on all them! (CJL)
