chaz
I came across an alarming effect today. I have some Woodland Scenics Field Grass (FG173) which I want to make into clumps which can later be planted in holes in the baseboard. This product comes in very fine strands two inches or a little more in length. By taking a few, twisting them together and then applying glue (gel type superglue) to the tightly twisted part I have made a few clumps. In the picture above the two taller clumps are made from the field grass. Now to try and speed things up about I tried Expo's thin grade 3 second superglue. If you have used this stuff you will know that it runs like water and it is difficult to control the amount leaving the nozzle. Maybe I applied too much but after a few seconds I had a puff of nasty, acrid smoke. Not something I want to repeat! Chaz
