Sam '43003' Tanner
Evening all, As per the topic header: Would it be feasible to utilise Peco's code 100 0-16.5 turnouts for representing light permanent way in 4mm? The only major factor I can think of is the possible radius issues. Although saying that, the 0-16.5 turnouts fall between the small and medium radius turnouts in Code 100 16.5mm trackwork. The stock would only really be 0-4-0 locomotives. Any thoughts? B)

It would be portraying a hefty mailn line rail section in OO scale, in O gauge it is all right, even there the section is a touch on the heavy side. Narrow gauge lines generally used very light section rail, about 40 to 50 code equivalent, not the code 100 of the Peco 016.5. Stephen.
Sam '43003' Tanner
Thanks for the Stephen. I hadn't considered the appearance. Ok. Maybe the use of Code 60 and handbuilt turnouts may be in order then. B)
