LIDL SHOWCASES

Hello

 

I must admit that I don't regularly shop at Lidl - there isn't one local to me (at the moment!)

 

But I have one of their showcases on my wall - and I'd like more now.

 

My understanding is that all Lidl items are 'limited availability for a couple of weeks' - they come, they go.

 

But also that weeks/months/years later they return - again just for a few weeks

 

I bought mine in 2016.

 

Does anyone know if they are currently available? Might they return? 

 

I have looked at their website to no avail

They usually have them in December, just before Christmas, each year.

That seems to be the only time they have them.

Yes December is the only time I have seen them. Not long to go then.

They do come up on eBay, there was one this week for a fiver as a buy it now which I posted on the bargains thread.

 

So maybe worth setting up a search on that or any of the other selling sites.

It’s a shame they aren’t more readily available. They are great cabinets. Another race ahead in December!

I've only seen the large cabinets on sale in our local Lidl store over the last two Decembers. Anyone wanting one of these should be aware they are extremely heavy and need two people to carry one even a short distance.

                Excellent value, especially if you can take advantage of the 'reduced price for two cabinets' whichever size.

I managed to collect a large one on my own once another intending purchaser helped me put it on top of the trolley, hatchback boot open and it nicely swung off the trolley into the boot(or was I just lucky). Also only seen the large ones recently and stocks of "special buys" can be very limited, have known my local Lidl to sell out very shortly after opening of some items due to them only having received a handful; indeed if you are passing near one the evening before they are supposed to go on sale its worth calling it to see if they have already been put out.

I've been told that they are due soon, but I can't find them on Lidl's website.

I'm told it's only the big one this year

 

Are the shelves the same depth on the big ones as the small ones? 

 

Has anyone a photo of one of the big ones 'in use'?
