Class 47 TOPS renumbering dates

This maybe a bit on the OCD spectrum but please bear with me. I've got a few class 47s to renumber, and especially some two tone green full yellow models. My intention is to number a few to pre-TOPs numbers that I saw in the summer of 1974, and to have a number of pre tops locos to run alongside warships and class 22s that never rubbed shoulders with a TOPs numbered loco. They will also "double up" to run with TOPs numbered locos the majority of which were done by mid 1974.

Looking at the lists in MLI 180 (class 47 part 1), 8 of the 10 I saw tally with this list but 2 don't.

1715 (became 47125) I saw at Keynsham on 26/10/74 (apparently renumbered in may 1974)

1950 (apparently numbered 47259 in mar 1974 then 47552 in Feb 1975).

I saw 1950 twice on 19/8 and 28/9/74, so it's not an error, and I believe that it perhaps never carried 47259.

Are there any more known anomalies with the TOPS published renumbering dates?

Neil

I suspect that (D)1950 was due to be renumbered 47259 and subsequently was added to the ETH Conversion Program after which it became 47552.
