petertg
Hi all! After putting passengers into railway coaches, I would like to do the same with some of the buses I have. A cursory look has led me to a provisional conclusion, namely, it would be fairly easy to get them apart, but not so simple to get them together again. Has anybody had any experience of this or is there anything already on the forum to which I can be directed? I am talking about 1:76 scale
birch1
Hi, Diecast buses can be relatively easy to take apart, whilst they can also be pigs! It very much depends on the individual model.
Les Bird
If you're thinking of double deckers, the easiest solution is to glue the decks back together after fitting the passengers. Personally, i use pva as it doesn't damage paint or cloud glazing, It's also fairly simple to take the bus apart again if required. I recommend you use H0 scale figures as there isn't a lot of room inside some models. As for taking them apart, methods vary according to the method of manufacture. Oxford and EFE are usually OK but some Corgi models can be difficult.
