AndrewP
I have just purchased a Hornby Toby for my son and frustratingly it only has a rear coupling. I have looked on ebay for spares and there seems to be a number of couplings that look the same an dcould fit - are they basically all the same or are there subtle differences. I am thinking about X8059, X9042, X9660. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Anyone has a spare they could post would be even better!! thanks,Andy
Il Grifone
According to Hornby it's X.9042 (HSS250B) https://www.Hornby.com/uk-en/downloads/view/index/cat/21/?p=2 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-X9042-Dapol-Airfix-Couplings-Pk2/332862343156?hash=item4d802447f4:g:OwYAAOSwFx5b2u1B They seem rather expensive to me however! I'd be tempted to fit a loop of wire.
