Sound Decoders

Really sorry if this is covered elsewhere within this sub forum, but being a novice when it comes to DCC, is is possible to buy a Class 47 sound decoder without a speaker already being attached?.

Pretty sure the Zimo decoders come without a speaker but not 100% sure.

ESU decoders come with the speaker wired to the decoder BUT I'm sure if you pre ordered an ESU decoder the supplier will desolder the speaker from the decoder if thats what you want.

Failing that just cut and insulate the speaker wires yourself.
