Londontram
I'm putting a bridge together and want to give it a "mesh" balastrade rather like the one in this picture. I thought of the Evergreens RSJ with the mesh web but it was both to wide apart and (I thought) was very expensive in my local model shop. The amount I'm needing would have cost me more than £60 plus without other materials. Has any one got a suggestion of an alternatives I'm looking for 120 cm length in strips of 10cm or cut off a sheet and about 1.5 to 2 cm deep
HonestTom
Try your local pound shop, the kitchenware section. See if they have any mesh splatter guards. That might give you what you need.

RMweb Gold Re6/6 Posted August 21, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 21, 2019 (edited) Alan Gibson do a very nice etch that that I've used before. 4MM44 Set of two etched brass frets which will make up into a typical Midland Railway bridge.
