Bury Baron Street in 4mm: ELR workbench

Greetings fellow humans for which I am one of!

 

Following my decision to move over to Bury Bolton Street, I felt it would be a good idea to create a thread dedicated towards my workbench, for which has gained the appropriate name of "Bury Baron Street." This will cover detailing, scratchbuilding/kitbuilding for everything on the layout. Currently, the fleet of my ELR is:

 

Visitors

*Hornby Railroad 4472 Flying Scotsman

 

Residents

*Lima GWR Prairie 4589

*Tri-ang 3f (under overhaul)

 

The "Prairie" will require:

*Bachmann chassis

*Renumbering

The 3f is being coverted into a L&Y class 27, which'll need:

*New Smokebox door

*Modified/replacement tender

*Rounded firebox

*New Cab?

*Repaint

 

I also have a mk1 rake, which is made up of a:

*Tri-ang Intercity Buffet

*Tri-ang Intercity Composite coach

*Hornby Railroad Maroon Brake

The Tri-ang coaches will require Bachmann commonwealth bogies, which I shall source soon.
