Deltic mad Dave
I am doing a photographic 'plank' of the North end of Peascliffe Tunnel, around late 1977, in Finescale 00, as a test bed for something ECML in the future, some progress pictures as below. I am working to pictures of the period but am lacking some tunnel mouth proportions, measurements and close ups of it and any buildings, signage, lineside equipment etc. Can anybody please help me with any info. Best Regards Dave
RMweb Gold DaveF Posted September 7, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 7, 2019 (edited) Dave, I have a few photos of the north end of Peascliffe tunel in one of my flickr albums at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/davidwf2009/albums/72157626170100071/page1 There are also quite a lot of images in my thread here on RMWeb, but you'll have to do a s earch to find them - link is below. There weren't really any buildings nearby at the time. I never got close to the tunnel as I don't think there are many public footpaths in the area, even though I knew one of the landowners I was not in a position to trespass on their land.
