RMweb Gold Garry D100 Posted May 7, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 7, 2010 Being something of a fan of the Slaters 16mm range I thought I would have a look at their latest offering. Some of you may have seen my other 16mm thread on the Quarry Hunslet which is on the old RMWeb site (and may yet get resurrected here one day). Therefore I thought some of you may like to have a gander at Slaters latest offering. As usual the parts are crisp and refined, but the instructions seem to be getting better with lovely CAD images to help with the build. What I was not ready for though was how big the wagon is in 16mm, as you will see. As it comes Instructions Side panels and bogie frames Size comparison of the bogie frames to a 4mm tank wagon Panel Detail Bogie parts Size comparison of the floor panels against a 4mm tank wagon (big eh?) Further end and bogie parts End detailing Wheels Castings All in all a very nice kit and should look good when up, painted and weathered. The bogies are also available as a seperate kit on their own if you want to scratchbuild your own wagon bodies or coaches.
