Very useful picture, thanks. I notice that both units still have the periscopes. @dasatcopthorne, do you know the date of the photo, and what livery the units are in? I was under the impression that they had lost them by the time they were painted in all blue livery.

Well, Geep7 !!!!

You are a very luck boy!!!

After some searching I have found the 'money shot' as you'd say. I didn't roam the land of 2 Haps very much at all.

I have included a few others that may help or hinder you. I have played about with the original shots to bring out some detail from otherwise poor exposures.

All pics mid/late 70s

Best of luck though.

Thank you, those photos are extremely useful, especially the last one.

Fortunately both coaches are only in Primer, so I can do some changes on the ends, and add those top jumper cable boxes.

I think the inner end diagrams in the DC Kits kit is based on the 2H Thumpers, rather than the Hap's, although over on Blood and Custard, they do seem to suggest it changed between batches. However, the ones in your photos seem to show a Phase 1, second batch unit, which is what I'm modelling, so I think photographic proof wins.

Many thanks again.

Here are a couple of 'typical' inner ends of roughly the correct style, showing the type of high lever box and other pipe work but I can't guarantee they have the exact same pipe layout.

I've just looked up the codes on the coach ends. These are CR which is the correct coaches from the correct batch of Haps. The Motor coaches.

Dave.
