John57sharp
Has anybody any clue how to safely remove the flywheel from the Heljan 0 gauge motor? I need to replace one of the wires and can’t access the top of the motor. TIA John
34theletterbetweenB&D
You need a 'puller' capable of reaching over and engaging the diameter and depth of the flywheel, the clearance between the flywheel and the motor casing, and with a pin smaller than the motor shaft diameter. With these dimensions to hand, consult specialist model tools suppliers of the ilk of Squires and Eileen's Emporium would be my suggestion.
RAF96
Couple of quid from China, but decent quality. Not sure if your flywheel would fit in the gap. Edited October 30, 2019 by RAF96 Extra comment. 1
